Fate Arena is a strategy-based game that gives you the chance to compete in rounds of eight players until only one is left standing. It's basically an auto battler or auto chess that's similar to games like Teamfight Tactics, DOTA Underlords or Chess Rush, but with visuals that look like Clash Royale.
Your objective in Fate Arena is to put together a team of heroes and strategically place them around your board to fight against other players. The synergies between the different characters in the game is super important, since if you get a minimum number of heroes from a single class you'll activate their abilities. You'll need to position your units on the board and combine their synergies in order to win.
In each round of Fate Arena you can buy units if you have enough gold coins. If you manage to get three of the same types of units, these heroes will level up. Plus, you can spend gold on other features in each round: level up in order to put more characters on the board and role-play or refresh the character store to make new ones appear.
One of the most interesting features of Fate Arena is the ability to level up heroes by getting their cards using the coins in the game. This lets you further improve your favorite units. Plus, not all the characters are available right from the beginning; you'll have to earn them by advancing in the league. This makes the game the perfect Auto Battler for total rookies, so you won't get lost in a giant flurry of characters like you might in other titles from the genre.
Fate Arena is an excellent strategy-based game that follows in the footsteps of Teamfight Tactics, but it offers a much more casual experience: the rounds last less than 10 minutes in comparison with the typical 30-40 minute rounds in other Auto battlers.
